Look this movie was already constructed from about 99% pure fanservice, but that they put a Commodore 64 in there as well feels like I'm much more of an identifiable demographic than I expected.

Something that caught my eye when I saw F9 in the cinema was a fraction of a second of what I thought was a Commodore 64, or at least its keyboard.

Finally got a screenshot of it to post! I thought it might not be one for a second, but it looks like a 64C case with the keyboard detached and pulled forward.

Considering buying a cheap, compatible alternator for the RAV4 to get it on the road again, so I can then leisurely get in parts to take a shot at rebuilding the old one myself for shits and giggles and just to see if I can.

I think this is a plan with very few flaws.

These water tanks I've picked up used an unspecified "food grade lubricant" on the o-rings, according to the install guide. Anyone want to speculate on what that might have been and where I might score a small bucket of it?

On the bright side, I did find an installation guide PDF for the system via archive.org, so that's nice. Not exactly anything surprising in there but it's good to have.
